LG-Ericsson (formerly known as LG-Nortel) is a joint venture telecommunications company between Sweden’s Ericsson and Korea’s LG Electronics. They have the LVP range of combo/hybrid video phones that comes with integrated LCD screen for video call purposes. Users can easily make a video conference call by just dialing like a normal phone call.
Video phone can be an alternative form of personal video conferencing that offers convenience with small desktop footprint. LG-Ericsson hybrid phones can operate on both traditional analogue telephone lines and over IP connectivity.
On June 2010, Nortel sold their stake to Ericsson and hence the name LG-Ericsson.
